Twenty-six years ago, Sinead O'Connor got on stage for SNL. If you remember she tore up a picture of, then Pope, John Paul II. She got reamed in the press, especially the RCC press. Now some are apologizing. The hierarchy, on the other hand is bloviating. The warnings, they go back to the late 1940s. The pedophile scandal in the RCC is nothing new. The cover-ups and denial have a long history, some speculate centuries.
