सेबी ने पीएसीएल निवेशकों से रिफंड के लिए आवेदन मांगे

दो जनवरी भाषा बाजार नियामक सेबी ने आज पीएसीएल समूह के कुछ निवेशकों से कहा है कि वे कंपनी की गैरकानूनी निवेश योजनाओं में निवेश किए गए अपने धन के रिफंड के लिए आवेदन जमा करें।

यह मामला सहारा के बाद प्रमुख मामलों में से एक है, जहां सेबी ने अदालत के आदेश के तहत प्रभावित निवेशकों से रिफंड का दावों को आमंत्रित किया है।

कृषि और रीयल एस्टेट कारोबार के नाम पर जनता से पैसे जुटाने वाली पीएसीएल को सेबी ने अवैध सामूहिक निवेश योजनाओं सीआईएस के माध्यम से 18 साल में 60,000 करोड़ से अधिक का धन जुटाते हुए पाया था।
शीर्ष न्यायालय ने पीएसीएल की परिसंपाियों के निपटान के देखरेख के लिए आर एम लोढ़ा समिति को नियुक्त किया था। ताकि प्रभावित निवेशकों का पैसा वापस किया जा सके। समिति ने रिफंड की प्रक्रिया शुरू करने का फैसला किया है।

सेबी ने अपने बयान में कहा, पहली बार में समिति ने ऐसे निवेशकों से रिफंड के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित करना का निर्णय लिया है जिनका पीएसीएल पर 2,500 रुपये तक का बकाया मूलधन है... रिफंड दावों की संख्या और समिति के पास उपलब्ध धन पर विचार करने के बाद प्रो-डेटा बेसिस पर लागू होगा।
